The West Virginia University Physicians of Charleston, Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatric Clinic and Training Center is located in the Robert C. Byrd Clinical Teaching Center attached to CAMC Hospital – Memorial Division. It is comprised of the WVU Faculty (psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner) as well as trainees in the various fields of mental health.
Our mission is to provide excellent assessment and treatment of adults and children with psychiatric illnesses, emotional problems, and behavioral disorders while simultaneously providing the community with the next generation of highly trained mental health professionals. We offer a wide range of evidence based psychiatric, psychological, and neuropsychological services. Restoring your mental well being and satisfaction is our goal. It is our aspiration to improve our professional knowledge and skills through scholarly pursuit.

Walking Directions: Enter the CAMC Robert C. Byrd Clinical Teaching Center main entrance. Go straight toward rear of lobby to the elevators. Take the elevators to the 5th floor. Veer left off the elevator. The entrance WVUPC Behavioral Medicine department is on the left side of the 5th floor lobby area.

- From the East, take Rt.61 North (aka MacCorkle Ave. SE) to 31st St., turn at second right.

- The CAMC Memorial parking building is located on your right directly across from the Hospital Entrance. This parking building serves as patient and visitor parking for all CAMC Memorial campus facilities.
- The cost for parking is $1.00 per half hour, with a maximum $4.00 charge for all day parking
